LOOK! There is 1/2 a candle!

So, There are days that you think you are having a good day and content with the way it is going, and someone comes over with a sweet surprise and makes is exceptional! My wonderfully, sweet and creative beyond words best friend, came by with a half of a chocolate cake… (I’m embarrassed to say it took me way too long to realize it was for her 1/2 birthday today!) Miss smiley didn’t get to sample the goods this time, 6 more months to go, but let’s just say there was a VERY happy 6 year old boy and his momma who made sure no cake went to waste. ūüôā I love you Darcy for your heart…

Our family went back to Yosemite for a wedding I shot. My sister and her husband went with us. Miss Kim is turning out to be quite the TALENTED lady! She will out shoot me soon!:)~ She took some family pics for us in a stunning area, fall leaves and crisp air. I nearly crashed on my bike several times looking up at the exquisite scenery.¬† When I looked at the pictured she took, I cried. SERIOUSLY? I know how some of my clients feel now. I just love imagining my kids holding the photo, smiling and staring at the love captured on a piece of paper. THANK YOU Kim for your eye, and Thank you God for your talent. (yes I think my kids are¬†some of his masterpieces,,, I’m biased,, and so should every mom be of their littles)

Halloween! YAY! my kids I get candy! We have a “santa” in our neighborhood and Colin and his cousin were more than thrilled to trick or treat on the BIG mans door. Little miss princess Buttercup is still the happiest thing ever, so nothing else would have done her any justice than Funshine bear. Colin on the other hand, has turned into a genuine boy… Darth Vader equipt with the voice box and a light saber. Gone are the days I can sway his costume choice…. sigh… next year it will probably be an ugly monster of some sort!:)~

I am smack dab in the middle of my busiest season, holiday photos.¬† Not a whole¬†bunch of time to take pics of my family, so I threw princess buttercup on the backdrop after a client left my house and snapped a couple of her for her 5 month¬†shot.¬† If anyone knows a good contractor, I will take the number… an add on to my house you ask? no I just need a wall built, 100ft by 100ft.¬†Simple really, it would be for the sole purpose of hanging photos. I HAVE anxiety trying to figure out where I will possibly hang all the photos I want to in my small home.¬†sigh…. I¬†know,,, I will think of¬†a more practical way, like switch out old photos in frames¬†already in my home. (gasp… more anxiety ) :)~ ¬†

2 of my favorite smells, PLUMERIA and BABY.
