Alrighty you married couples out there… stop reading this and go to http://www.wineresort.com/ RC and I went to South Coast Winery in Temecula… ALONE..
Yes we had MANY conversations about Colin, but then we actually talked about lots of stuff other than being parents. We took a tour on how to become wine snobs. We left for a romantic getaway to get a nice perspective on us…This week was full of putting life in PERSPECTIVE— everything I did seemed magnified in showing me what was important in life. At the end of the day, I would like to say I’m a pretty thankful person… but I was taught this week I HAVE NO CLUE. After hearing my dad’s stories about Haiti, after watching the news, and after hearing the whisper of Gods words in things like a smile from a baby, and a tear from a grieving mother. Perspective is a very LARGE thing to see once you see it…
Leaving you with Three things I’ve learned this week:
1- If you use words like tannins, halo and “smells like apple” while describing wine, you may pass as a wine expert.
2. DO NOT teach you four year old what mosquitoes eat… (mom of the year award for that one)
3. Just one M&M has the power to erase 1 months work at the gym…
